Pakenham

Supported the establishment of Herb Thomas Memorial Trust in memory of
the
Editor of the Pakenham Gazette who gave of himself to the community.

Involved in feasibility study to build a retirement village in Pakenham.
Another Festival of Nations held.
Celebrated 21st Anniversary of Club.
Hosted the Bus of Knowledge trip for underprivileged children from inner
CitySuburbs
to Pakenham.
Erection of Tourist Information board on Princess Highway.

Member to member contact with Rotary Club of Deggendorf Republic of
Germany.
Involvement with Community projects resulting from the Ash Wednesday Bush
Fires themajor
project
was assembling 260 bikes for children who had their
homes destroyed by fire.
World Snooker Champion Eddie Charlton bought to Pakenham to
demonstrate
his skills.
Provisional Club of Bunyip/Garfield established.
Hosted Group Study Exchange team from India.

Igloo type construction erected in Upper Beaconsfield for
